Beejapheth & T-Rex currently own 20 geckos. This includes 1 Leopard Gecko, 1 Leachianus Gecko, 1 Chahoua Gecko, 2 Gargoyle Geckos, 1 Bauer’s Chameleon Gecko, 13 Crested Geckos & 1 Tokay Gecko.

More Information On The Geckos

  • Beejapheth and T-Rex adopted Minerva from a breeder out of state. When they got her, she was only a couple months old. They were able to watch her grow into her own unique personality. She is the friendliest of all of their geckos. She loves to get out and explore, which is very entertaining to watch.

  • Beejapheth and T-Rex got Sybill from a semi-local gecko breeder. She was also only a few months old when they got her. Believe it or not, she was only thumb-sized then. Her colors are amazing to see in person. When she is fired up, she becomes a dark green base with coral-colored spots. When fired down, she is a light green base with pale purple spots.

  • Neville is one of Beejapheth and T-Rex’s newest geckos. He is still a juvenile and will be getting much bigger. Since he’s still a juvenile, they are not 100% positive on his sex, but are leaning towards male right now. His colors are still developing, but he currently has a lot of reds and greens. He’s also been starting to show his sassy side more often.

  • Beejapheth and T-Rex acquired Granger & Draco from two different local breeders about a year apart from each other. Granger is definitely the more personable one of the pair. The change in her colors from when she is fired up to fired down is dramatic and gorgeous. Before they adopted Draco, he suffered from a partial hemipenile prolapse. The vet was able to perform surgery to fix the issue, which he healed up nicely from. He does good with being handled, although he prefers to watch you from behind his plants.

  • Beejapheth and T-Rex got Albus at a reptile expo in 2021. He was already full grown when they got him. He is the tiniest of all their geckos (except the babies). Since he’s so small, he’s exceptional at playing hide and seek. His movements are fun to watch as well. He starts off moving in quick bursts, then slows down into snail speed movements.

  • Bella, Dobs & Sev were adopted from a semi-local breeder. Beejapheth and T-Rex got them in 2020 when they were teeny tiny babies. This trio were the first geckos Beejapheth and T-Rex owned. Their personalities, coloring and markings have changed drastically over the past few years. Bellatrix had her tail when they adopted her. But since baby geckos frighten easily, she dropped it after the trip home. Unfortunately, crested geckos’ tails do not grow back. Dobby had dropped his tail before they adopted him, and Severus is their only adult crested gecko that still has a tail.

  • Beejapheth and T-Rex acquired this trio at a reptile expo from a local breeder. The breeder informed them that he had recently been breeding this trio, so it was possible that the females were gravid (pregnant in reptile terms). And boy, did he turn out to be correct. Since adopting this trio in mid 2023, Andromeda has laid 4 eggs and Rowena has laid 8 eggs. All three of these geckos are very friendly, but do not love to be held. Rubeus’ nickname is “crazy man” because he is always on the move in his enclosure. Leaping crazily from branch to plant to food. Andromeda and Rowena are much more relaxed. They tend to hide in their back corners and keep one eye on you at all times.

  • Creature was adopted by Beejapheth and T-Rex from the same local breeder as Andromeda, Rowena and Rubeus. Creature is the offspring of Rowena and Rubeus. Since he is still very young, they currently do not know his sex. Although, it should become clear in the next few months. Creature’s nickname is “psycho” because he takes after his gecko daddy. He is always on the move and makes it difficult to catch him when they’re trying to do his weekly wellness checks.

  • Beejapheth adopted Narcissa from a local chain pet store as a gift for T-Rex. Tokay geckos are commonly known as the “demon” geckos of the reptile world. They are typically not very friendly and usually not handleable. They can be tamed, but it takes a lot of time and effort. T-Rex was and still is in love with these geckos. Even though they tend not to like humans, Tokays have strong parental bonds to their babies and are very protective of their family. Narcissa had been at this local pet store for an extremely long time. T-Rex would go see her every time they were in the store. Finally, Beejapheth decided Narcissa deserved a home with someone that would love her unconditionally. Although she is mainly a “look but don’t touch” gecko, T-Rex loves having her as part of the family.

  • The other 6 geckos that are missing from the photos are all of the baby crested geckos that Beejapheth and T-Rex currently have. Out of Andromeda’s 4 eggs, 2 of them were viable and hatched. Out of Rowena’s 8 eggs, 5 were viable and hatched. 6 of the 7 gecko babies are currently in small tub enclosures because they are so small. The 7th gecko baby was adopted out to That Guy & That Gal for their three kiddos. His name is now Echo and he's thriving in his new home. Beejapheth told T-Rex that they cannot keep all of these babies, so it’s possible that some of them might be up for adoption soon.
