Norbert was purchased from a small local reptile shop. Prior to acquiring him, Beejapheth and T-Rex both had a slight fear of snakes. The moment Beejapheth first held Norbert he was amazed by his demeanor. Norbert loves to explore and is a very interactive snake. He is super sweet and even gentle during his feedings. Anytime he hears someone nearby, Norbrt will peak his little head out of his hide to see what’s going on.

Buckbeak was purchased through a local breeder. T-Rex wanted a western hognose from the first time she saw one. She found their sass and little shovel nose to be adorable. Buckbeak loves to burrow down in his substrate. It always a game of hide and seek on feeding days. For the first few months of owning him, Buckbeak refused to eat a meal. Finally, he now gets excited when it’s dinner time. Although, he prefers not to have an audience while eating his dinner.
